Ryan and I met in 2006 while working at O.K. Foods in Fort Smith, AR. Ryan worked in MIS and I worked in Human Resources. Through a unique set of circumstances we ended up being friends long before we became a couple. We almost didn’t become a couple though, because Ryan decided to quit working at O.K. Foods in July of 2008 and take a job in Houston, TX. However, we decided to try the long distance relationship. After lots of cell phone minutes used and long trips to visit each other, we made it.
On December 27, 2009, Ryan proposed to me at home after a trip up here for Christmas. I was quite surprised but happily accepted. We are planning our wedding which is to be held on October 23rd, 2010. It is still up in the air where we will live, but we will work it out. Love can conquer all.
